I made this base to support a rod and bar bending jig. The user holds everything down by standing on the outer rim while bending the work-piece placed in the bending jig. This avoids the need to install bolts in the shop floor.
When I made this assembled pedestal base, I made parts for a second one. The second unit can be thought of as a "weld-it-up-yourself" kit.
